Ultima Media Credits, organizer of the Automotive Logistics Global Detroit conference, needed new ways to grow attendance among hard-to-reach VIP buyers as traditional marketing channels became less effective. To address this, Ultima Media partnered with GleanIn and used Gleanin Connect, a social referral marketing platform, to tap into advocates’ networks and identify new attendees.
With GleanIn’s Gleanin Connect, Ultima Media gained attribution data showing which VIP registrants came through referrals, including people from the same companies as advocates. The approach opened a new channel for attracting premium attendees and amplified other marketing efforts, helping Ultima extend its reach into a highly desirable audience segment and set up incentives for even more attributable registrations.
