Smarter Shows, organiser of the Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo US, wanted to drive more registrations and visitors while improving pre-registration conversion. To support this goal, they used GleanIn’s referral marketing platform, Gleanin Connect, with their registration partner Visit by GES.
GleanIn helped Smarter Shows activate social referrals and advocacy, with 19% of registrants registering socially and more than 18% sharing the show through broadcasts, invites, or direct emails. More than 6% of all registrations came via Gleanin referrals, and those registrants converted to attendees at a 15% higher rate than overall registrants.
