Diversified Communications UK, organizer of the SITS (The Service Desk & IT Support Show) event for IT service management professionals, wanted to drive more registrations, more visitors, and stronger pre-registration conversion. They used GleanIn’s referral marketing platform, Gleanin Connect, with Jonas as the registration partner to help boost advocacy and social sharing.
GleanIn implemented a social referral program that encouraged registrants to broadcast the show to their networks, invite contacts, and share via email. The results were strong: more than 10% of registrants came from social activity, over 13% advocated for the show through GleanIn, 7.25% of all registrations were driven by GleanIn referrals, and GleanIn registrants converted to attendees 9% higher than the overall registrant average.
