A Gleam Case Study
Color Theory — the one‑man electronic act of Brian Hazard — faced the common musician challenge of finding new listeners and growing his Spotify audience (starting at roughly 2,000 followers). To boost visibility and follower growth he needed a simple, focused way to promote his music to relevant fans beyond his existing channels.
He partnered with musical tech brand ROLI and used Gleam’s Competitions app to run a giveaway (his full discography + a ROLI Seaboard Block). The campaign drove 5,738 actions from 2,227 users and delivered 1,019 new Spotify followers (about a 50% increase to ~3,000 in seven days), plus 1,692 new email subscribers — while ROLI gained 2,081 email signups and 792 app downloads.
