Preston’s College, one of the largest further education colleges in the North West, needed a more accessible, intuitive way to view its data and deliver real-time reporting across the organisation. Working with Glantus’ Dynistics Active Dashboards, the college sought a reporting tool that could serve users from senior leadership to departmental managers without requiring a data background.

Glantus implemented Active Dashboards to integrate multiple data sources and provide visual, drill-down reporting for attendance, learner retention, apprenticeships, and achievement rates. The solution helped Preston’s College spot issues earlier, improve decision-making, reduce time spent producing reports, and increase adoption across the college; apprenticeship starts rose from 433 to 709 between 2014 and 2017, including an 82.5% increase in 16–18 apprentices and a 53.87% increase in adult apprentices.
