Dennison Commercials — Getting on the Right Road to Financial Efficiency

Dennison Commercials, a long-established Volvo truck and bus dealer operating across four depots in Northern Ireland, was struggling to manage 12,000–14,000 purchase invoices a year. With a small finance team and invoices arriving by post and email, documents were frequently hard to track, sometimes went missing, and manual filing was time-consuming. Dennison Commercials turned to Glantus, using the AdestAP and AdestWeb products to improve automated purchase invoice processing, invoice matching, approval workflow, and secure storage.

Glantus implemented AdestAP to automatically capture invoices from both paper and email, centralize them into a unified inbox, and route them through validation, coding, authorization, and approval before posting to the company’s Chorus ERP system. The result was much faster invoice handling, improved accuracy and control, and a major reduction in manual effort: the purchase ledger could be maintained by just one person instead of two, and month-end work became much easier with invoices searchable and ready for export to Excel. Dennison Commercials also reported that invoice retrieval became instant and that the company was close to eliminating paper filing altogether.
