How Built With Bitcoin Launched an NFT Collection to Help Build Schools Around The World

Built With Bitcoin Foundation, a nonprofit focused on clean water, education, sustainable farming, and humanitarian support, wanted to expand its fundraising and increase trust with donors as it grew its mission around Bitcoin. After being in contact with The Giving Block for years, the foundation joined the platform to help raise awareness, attract new crypto donors, and strengthen its credibility in the philanthropy space.

With The Giving Block, Built With Bitcoin Foundation began accepting cryptocurrency donations through the platform and leveraged its visibility to launch a unique NFT fundraising campaign with Satoshibles called Built With NFT. More than 500 students from six schools in Africa created 10,000 hand-painted NFTs, and all proceeds supported building more schools. The Giving Block helped the foundation raise over $1 million in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency donations to date, contributing to 10 schools, seven solar systems, and dozens of water and farming projects worldwide.
