Cara Operations, Canada’s largest restaurant chain with 800+ locations, needed a new gift card program that could work across multiple brands. After launching the Bon Appetit gift card with Givex in 2002, the company wanted to introduce The Ultimate Dining Card in 2014 and support both business-to-business and business-to-customer sales through in-restaurant, online, corporate, and retail channels.

Givex developed and launched the program quickly under a tight deadline, including more than 100 reports and a rollout affecting 850 locations within 4 months. It also updated the B2B and B2C websites, handled inventory and fulfillment, and created a unified settlement scheme that fixed prior reconciliation issues. The result was a single gift card program usable across Cara brands, with clearer reporting for headquarters and franchisees.
