The City Mission, a long-time GiveWP customer, needed a better way to run a focused Giving Tuesday campaign that would be easy for donors to understand and compelling enough to drive more support. After earlier campaigns taught them the value of simplifying their ask, they planned a child-focused fundraiser for a teen lounge at Laura’s Home and used GiveWP to power their online donations.
With GiveWP, The City Mission combined a clear storytelling strategy, a matching gift from Bravo Wellness, and paid digital promotion to launch #TeenSuiteTuesday. The campaign raised $13,065 in online donations plus a $5,000 match, far exceeding its $10,000 goal, nearly doubling donor count year over year, and helping the organization win an .Org Impact Award for its Giving Tuesday success.
