The University of Notre Dame, through its annual alumni reunion dinner, wanted to raise more donations, attract more donors, and increase alumni engagement. To support this goal, the university turned to GiveSmart for online fundraising services.
GiveSmart set up a text-to-give campaign and a subscription campaign that sent daily prayers to subscribers, with forms created across channels like social media, email, and text to simplify tracking. The effort helped Notre Dame significantly boost donations and alumni engagement, capture 844 subscribers for its alumni association, and later raise $21,981 through the Notre Dame Streak campaign, more than double its $10,000 goal.
