Little Red Door Cancer Society, an Indianapolis-based nonprofit supporting uninsured and underserved people with cancer, wanted to make donations easier at its Annual Face of Hope Breakfast. With GiveSmart, the organization looked to replace check writing and handwritten credit card collection with a more convenient way for attendees to give.

GiveSmart implemented text-to-donate, individual giving pages for table captains, automated thank-you receipts, and direct import of donations and new donors into Salesforce. The results included $120,712 raised, $18,471 pledged, and three months of data entry eliminated, while staff followed up with only 30 of more than 1,400 attendees who donated by check.
