Berkeley Repertory Theatre faced the challenge of pivoting its major annual OVATION gala to a virtual format with only three weeks' notice. Their goal was to maintain the momentum of their existing peer-to-peer fundraising efforts while honoring their special guest and artist community. They turned to GiveSmart and its Event Page product to accomplish this.

Using GiveSmart's platform, Berkeley Rep created a virtual event page to host live and pre-recorded videos, showcase sponsors and donor rewards, and feature a fundraising progress circle. This solution allowed them to successfully execute their virtual gala. As a result, they raised a total of $950,000, with $550,000 of that being raised through GiveSmart's peer-to-peer and online fundraising tools in the final three weeks leading up to the event.
