How WWF-UK raised over £200,000 by developing a Facebook Challenge that works for them

WWF-UK, the world’s leading independent conservation organization, wanted to build on the fundraising success of its Facebook Challenges and grow support for its 100 Miles in March campaign. The charity worked with GivePanel and its Facebook Challenge platform to run a more efficient, supporter-led virtual event while managing registrations, messaging, and fundraising data in one place.

Using GivePanel, WWF-UK streamlined data matching, supporter engagement, and campaign tracking across the full Facebook Challenge journey. The result was a highly successful campaign that raised £212,319.77, generated 5,700 registrations, delivered a 1.45% CTR on acquisition ads, and created 2,344 active Facebook fundraisers, while also adding 1,700+ new supporters to its mailing list.
