Lifeline, the Australian crisis support and suicide prevention charity, wanted a better way to thank and steward its Facebook fundraisers while also exploring new digital fundraising opportunities. Using GivePanel, along with support from Elevate Fundraising, Lifeline launched its first Facebook Challenge and began building a more meaningful communication strategy for birthday and in-memory fundraisers.
GivePanel helped Lifeline manage supporter stewardship, test thank-you messaging, and gain clearer insight into fundraiser data. The results included 5,500 group members, 2,219 active fundraisers, and AU$432,957 raised through the challenge, plus more than 1,000 birthday and in-memory fundraisers thanked in the first six months and supporter data capture improving to 40%.
