Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF), the world’s leading philanthropic organization dedicated to funding prostate cancer research, needed a better way to manage the many Facebook fundraisers created by its supporters. The team struggled to filter fundraisers, track totals, and quickly thank donors, especially as they looked to expand into Facebook Challenges. To solve this, PCF turned to GivePanel and its Facebook fundraising management tools.
With GivePanel, PCF could upload Facebook data, filter fundraising activity quickly, thank supporters directly on their personal fundraising pages, and manage challenge registrations and communications more efficiently. Using GivePanel, PCF launched and grew its 100 Miles in March Facebook Challenge, reaching 4,200 group members, 489 active fundraisers, and $140,635 raised, with an average of $287.60 per fundraiser and a 3.7 ROI.
