The Parkinson’s Foundation partnered with GivePanel after seeing growth in organic fundraisers and birthday fundraising, which meant they needed to pivot their Facebook strategy toward stronger stewardship and engagement. As part of this shift, they launched their first Facebook Challenge, “Jog 60 Miles in April,” as a pilot to test engagement with their Facebook audience.
Using GivePanel to help manage the effort, the Parkinson’s Foundation launched the challenge and successfully doubled their fundraising goal. The pilot demonstrated strong fundraising potential for this new approach, giving the team a clear model for future Facebook fundraising campaigns.
