A Giveffect Case Study
The Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley faced fragmented software systems that made room allocation and resource tracking unreliable—occupancy and waitlist data were often missing from reports—and struggled to track online donations because event and fundraising pages were spread across multiple platforms. To solve these challenges they turned to Giveffect and adopted Giveffect’s all-in-one nonprofit technology.
Giveffect implemented its nonprofit membership management (including the Resources tab) and the customizable Campaigns tool to centralize room occupancy, waitlists, family needs, event ticketing and donation processing onto single webpages. This reduced duplicate manual entry, improved volunteer and guest tracking, and drove fundraising growth: RMHGHV raised $423,070 in 2022 and has raised over $13 million since adopting Giveffect in 2017, including more than $400K in online fundraising in a single year.
