A Giveffect Case Study
Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley was managing room allocations, volunteers and donor data across multiple disconnected systems (including Exceed Beyond and Greater Giving), which generated duplicate entries, extra manual data entry and incomplete reporting. To address these challenges they adopted Giveffect’s all‑in‑one (10‑in‑1) nonprofit software to centralize resource scheduling, guest management and fundraising workflows.
Giveffect implemented its Resources tab, Donations Database, event/campaign pages and customizable query/reporting tools to provide a 360° view of constituents and streamline operations. As a result, RMHGHV reduced duplicate systems and manual work, improved room allocation and reporting, and boosted online fundraising—online donations increased (reported at about 60%) and event pages helped exceed goals (2018 Golf Outing $82,992 of $80,000; Dylan J. Hoffman Walk $39,071 of $25,000)—demonstrating measurable impact from Giveffect’s platform.
