TeenTix raises over $46K in its first virtual gala with Givebutter

TeenTix, a nonprofit organization making arts accessible to teens in the Seattle area, faced the challenge of pivoting its annual in-person fundraising gala to a virtual format due to the pandemic. The organization needed a way to recreate the energy and community of its traditional event while still meeting its $45,000 fundraising goal. They turned to Givebutter to host their first-ever virtual spring gala.

Using Givebutter's platform to create a peer-to-peer fundraising campaign and host a live-streamed virtual event, TeenTix successfully transformed its gala. The solution included team member pages to act as virtual tables and a pre-event Zoom happy hour to foster connection. The event was a major success, surpassing its goal to raise over $46,000 from more than 255 supporters, demonstrating Givebutter's effectiveness for virtual fundraising.
