Radio France deploys 5x faster with GitLab CI/CD

Radio France, the French public radio broadcaster, needed to reduce context switching and simplify deployments across many teams and services. After using GitLab for source code management, they looked for a way to combine code management and CI/CD into one tool so developers could own their deployments without relying on a separate Jenkins workflow.

GitLab provided the CI/CD solution, allowing Radio France to move production deployments into GitLab pipelines and give each team control of its own pipeline. With GitLab, Radio France increased production deployments from 10 to 50 per day, cut deployment time from 5–6 minutes to about 20 seconds, and reduced CI/CD costs by 70%, while also improving flexibility, collaboration, and testing.
