Case Study: Crédit Agricole streamlines global workflows with GitLab

A GitLab Case Study

Preview of the Credit Agricole Case Study

How Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (CACIB) transformed its global workflow with GitLab

Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (CACIB), part of Crédit Agricole, needed a more flexible, efficient source code management approach for globally distributed teams. After using centralized SCM tools for years, the bank wanted better performance, easier onboarding, stronger integration with its tooling, and greater autonomy for development teams. GitLab Enterprise was selected to help modernize its workflow.

With GitLab, Crédit Agricole CIB implemented a self-service, integrated platform for source code management, CI/CD, automation, and collaboration. GitLab enabled faster onboarding, quicker application setup, and easier migrations, reducing new application creation from several days to just a few hours and cutting migration time from about a month to a few days. Adoption grew organically from 400 to 2,000 enterprise users, supported by more than 200 runners, and GitLab became a standard for both IT and business teams across the organization.
