Fujitsu Cloud Technologies improves deployment velocity and cross-functional workflows with GitLab

Fujitsu Cloud Technologies, a Tokyo-based cloud technology provider, needed a better way to share internal development and operations expertise across projects while managing approvals in a way that fit Japanese business practices. Before adopting GitLab Premium, teams used a patchwork of separate tools for version control, issue tracking, CI, and CD, which created silos and made DevOps difficult to manage consistently.

GitLab provided a single integrated DevOps platform that unified source code management, CI/CD, issue and progress management, and authorizations for both internal and external engineers. As a result, Fujitsu Cloud Technologies improved workflow efficiency and quality, reduced release cycles from up to six months to as little as a few days, and cut deployment time from about a day to roughly five minutes in some cases. GitLab also helped improve audit readiness and made it easier for new team members to join and contribute quickly.
