A GitLab Case Study
FullSave, a French telecommunications infrastructure operator based in Labège, needed to replace its previous issue tracking and project management tool after a licensing change made self-hosting impossible. The company also wanted to consolidate several DevOps tools into a single platform to improve CI/CD integration, reduce complexity, and support the traceability needed for ISO27001 certification. FullSave had already been using GitLab in parts of its workflow and saw GitLab Ultimate as the natural next step.
By moving to GitLab Ultimate SaaS, FullSave consolidated its DevOps toolchain onto a single end-to-end platform. GitLab enabled merge request workflows, issue dependencies, and deployment automation, improving collaboration, code validation, and project visibility. The results were significant: deployments increased from just two or three times per month to many times a day, deployment time dropped from two to three hours to a few minutes, and the company saw fewer errors, higher code output, better software quality, and support for ISO27001 certification.
