A GitLab Case Study
Axway, the Paris- and Phoenix-based computer software company, needed a better way to improve collaboration across globally distributed development teams. Working with GitLab Premium, Axway moved away from a complex, hard-to-administer Subversion-based toolchain that was limiting DevOps adoption and slowing worldwide teamwork.
GitLab provided Axway with an on-premises, single-instance source code management platform that supported LDAP, Jenkins integration, and Git-based collaboration across teams. As a result, Axway onboarded 600+ developers, migrated 3,000 projects, and accelerated release cycles by 26x, with some products moving from annual releases to every two weeks.
