Via, one of Latin America’s largest retailers, was managing a complex technology stack and a patchwork of development tools for version control, CI, documentation, and technical discussions. This created overhead and made collaboration harder across teams. Via selected GitHub Enterprise, along with GitHub Actions and GitHub’s API, to simplify development and support both internal and external software work.

GitHub helped Via centralize code, documentation, and discussions in one place, migrate repositories quickly, and automate Android and iOS builds with GitHub Actions. The result was less tool management, smoother collaboration, easier remote work and partner access, and faster onboarding for developers. Via also reported that Actions was simpler than traditional CI tools, with developers saying they “never want to go back.”
