LambdaTest, a cloud-based test execution platform for software testers, needed better control as it scaled and wanted to reduce the burden of managing many third-party tools. The company upgraded from GitHub Team to GitHub Enterprise and was looking to use GitHub Actions to streamline its CI/CD workflows and keep developers focused in one environment.

GitHub helped LambdaTest migrate most of its CI/CD process to GitHub Actions, including linting, testing, packaging, and building binaries, with additional automation through Dependabot and token scanning. The result was a smoother workflow, less manual work, fewer tools to manage, improved security, and more time for developers to code and review pull requests; LambdaTest also reported that new hires already knew GitHub, reducing onboarding friction.
