Case Study: KPMG achieves unified, more secure global development with GitHub

A GitHub Case Study

Preview of the KPMG Case Study

KPMG uses GitHub as a beacon to transform its international developer organization

KPMG, one of the Big Four accounting firms, faced a highly fragmented tech stack across 145 countries and needed a way to unite its global developer organization. The company turned to GitHub and launched KPMG Code to standardize DevOps pipelines, improve collaboration, and give developers a common platform while still letting them use preferred tools.

Using GitHub, KPMG consolidated CI/CD workflows, enabled code reuse across teams and regions, and sped up developer onboarding with GitHub Actions and GitHub Codespaces. GitHub Advanced Security helped standardize security scans, compliance checks, Dependabot, CodeQL, and secret scanning across repositories, reducing manual effort and improving safety; overall, GitHub helped KPMG build faster, smarter, and more securely.
