A GitHub Case Study

Preview of the Knock Case Study

Knock pivots to new products, with the help of GitHub’s fast, flexible developer workflows

Knock is a technology startup helping people buy and sell homes more easily, and it faced the challenge of launching new products quickly while scaling its fully remote engineering team across multiple markets. To support this growth, Knock relied on GitHub Team and GitHub’s developer workflows to collaborate, onboard engineers fast, and keep development moving across a complex real estate and finance platform.

GitHub helped Knock build a flexible, automated DevOps process that sped up deployments, testing, and cross-team collaboration. The company reported about 4,000 builds every 90 days, faster coordination that could happen in hours instead of weeks, and the ability to support more than 43,000 agents across 70 brokerage firms while launching new experiences for Home Swap.
