Case Study: Front achieves faster, more secure workflows with GitHub Team

A GitHub Case Study

Front takes the work out of their workflows with GitHub Team

Front, the collaborative inbox company, needed a better way to manage code across growing teams and offices while improving collaboration, security, and infrastructure workflows. With its engineering organization expanding rapidly, Front had outgrown a single-repository setup and wanted a platform that could support distributed development and their cloud-based workflow. GitHub Team was the vendor service they chose to help solve this challenge.

GitHub implemented GitHub Team and GitHub Actions to unify Front’s development, testing, and deployment process on one platform, while also strengthening code review and security controls. The result was a faster, more seamless CI/CD workflow, with deployments happening 75% faster—about 10 minutes instead of 40 minutes manually. GitHub also helped Front improve secure collaboration, streamline integrations with tools like Kubernetes, Jira, and Electron, and reduce manual work for engineers.
