Doctolib uses GitHub to drive digital transformation in healthcare

Doctolib, a fast-growing digital healthcare provider in Europe, needed to simplify a growing and increasingly fragmented engineering stack as demand rose during the pandemic. The company relied on GitHub for code storage and version control, and turned to the GitHub platform to reduce tool sprawl, improve collaboration, and support its expanding telehealth and healthcare workflow needs.

GitHub helped Doctolib centralize key development capabilities, especially with GitHub Actions for CI/CD, which broadened developer participation and improved governance. Doctolib now automates almost all CI/CD on GitHub Actions and deploys three times daily, while also saving engineering time on tasks like style enforcement and improving code reuse; the company is also rolling out GitHub Copilot company-wide after a successful trial.
