A GitHub Case Study
Adobe, a global leader in creative and business software, needed a common development platform that could unify many teams, tools, and workflows across its growing family of products. As Adobe expanded through new services and acquisitions, it turned to GitHub to create a shared “lingua franca” for developers working across everything from open source to DevOps.
GitHub helped Adobe standardize development, automate self-service workflows, and simplify collaboration for internal teams and external contributors. The results included faster onboarding, reduced operational overhead, and much quicker contribution cycles—Adobe cut its legal and technical process for open source contributions from two weeks to half a day, and also reduced management needs to a single part-time server admin for GitHub.
