A Girvin Case Study
The Golf Club at Newcastle, an OKI Golf property, faced the challenge of transforming a former coal slag and city dumping ground into a high-end golf course. Scott Oki of the OKI Foundation enlisted the vendor, Girvin, to create a strategic branding and design program to align with this innovative vision for land reclamation.
Girvin developed the opening brand strategy, which included naming, identity, and environmental design for the new course overlooking Seattle. The solution involved creating the club's logo and all accompanying print and promotional materials. According to the client's marketing officer, the powerful and timeless brand Girvin helped create became a crown jewel for property buyers.
