A Girvin Case Study
Girvin was approached by a team from California Libraries, the largest library consortium in the US, with a challenge. They sought to create a unified, inquiry-based online presence and a 24/7 information access tool to be deployed nationally for all their libraries.
The solution from Girvin involved strategic branding and design, specifically naming the service "Ask Now," creating its identity, and designing a simple bilingual interface. This tool became part of the statewide 24/7 Reference cooperative. The result was outstanding, with the service reaching 5 million users per month, and its core search functionality remains in use today.
