To help solve this challenge, Gimbal used its mobile advertising and location technology to reach adults near participating stores and measure how effectively those ads translated into real-world visits.

Gimbal served animated banners and rich media units within geofences around store locations in the U.S., UK, France, Spain, and Switzerland, then tracked entry, exit, and dwell to attribute visits. The campaign generated over 4,400 store visits in two weeks, delivered a 7% lift in store traffic, and produced an average dwell time of 35 minutes.
