Unibail-Rodamco Creates a Connected, Personalized Shopping Experience with Gigya

Unibail-Rodamco, Europe’s largest commercial real estate company, wanted to transform mostly anonymous mall visitors into known customers so it could deliver more personalized, seamless shopping experiences across its properties. To do that, it turned to Gigya and its Registration-as-a-Service (RaaS) to make identity central to the customer experience across mall sites and mobile apps.

Gigya implemented a simple two-click registration and social login flow, while centralizing profile and behavioral data for analysis and personalization. The results included a 26% increase in registration rates, 76% of new registrants using social login, a 35X increase in mobile registrations, and 92% growth in loyalty card subscriptions, helping Unibail-Rodamco extend connected experiences across malls, apps, and even parking.
