A Gigya Case Study
The Canadian Olympic Committee, through its Canadian Olympic Club, wanted to turn anonymous olympic.ca visitors into known users and build year-round engagement with Team Canada fans while improving campaign efficiency. To do that, it needed a more data-driven approach to acquisition, loyalty, and audience understanding, and it used Gigya’s Registration-as-a-Service and Loyalty Package.
Gigya implemented identity registration, social login, loyalty badges and points, plus Profile Management and Customer Insights to collect permission-based fan data and build custom segments. The results were strong: registration conversions from Facebook campaigns increased 106%, the user base grew 56% in four months, 87% of new users came from Facebook, and cost per conversion for Facebook lookalike targeting fell 51%.
