Scottish Television (STV), Scotland’s leading digital media brand, needed a way to better identify viewers, personalize content, and manage customer data across its digital properties. After earlier social-login efforts fell short and connected-TV registration rates remained low, STV turned to Gigya and SAP Customer Data Cloud to build a stronger customer identity foundation.
Gigya implemented SAP Customer Identity / SAP Customer Data Cloud in six months, giving STV a single customer view and a centralized source of truth for viewing, marketing, and inquiry data. The results included a 14.5% increase in open rates, a 21.4% increase in click-through rates, and a 45% increase in overall conversion rates, while also reducing the audience list by more than 35% and improving ad targeting and sales.
