Provident Financial’s Satsuma Loans digital lending business needed a secure way to onboard customers, manage profiles, and create a better experience beyond treating every visitor as a guest. Working with Gigya, using SAP Customer Data Cloud, Satsuma sought a faster, more scalable login and self-service solution that could support customer retention and lifecycle engagement.

Gigya implemented SAP Customer Identity with registration-as-a-service and related consent capabilities, giving Satsuma secure login, profile management, and customer-level engagement. The results were strong: the solution went live in about four months, 70% of existing accounts were onboarded in four months, 402,000 logins were handled without service issues, and average loan value increased by 20%.
