Boyd Gaming Player Loyalty through Gamification

Boyd Gaming, a major casino entertainment company, wanted to make its B Connected loyalty program more social and engaging across online, mobile, and in-person channels. To do this, Boyd Gaming worked with Gigya to transform B Connected Online into a fully social player experience using Gamification technology and Share plugins.

Gigya helped Boyd Gaming launch B Connected Social, enabling users to earn points, badges, and rewards by linking social accounts, sharing promotions, booking hotels, and checking in at casinos. The results were strong: more than 43,000 customers opted in at launch, the site saw over 700,000 visits in the first month, social sharing exceeded 35,000 posts, and social check-ins across Boyd Gaming outlets increased by 30.4%.
