Docket launches medical records app for Q2 2016 with Gigster

Docket, a company aiming to help patients take control of their medical histories, faced the challenge of creating a platform from scratch in the fragmented American healthcare system. Founder Michael Perretta had an idea but lacked the technical expertise to build a workable proof-of-concept, having been discouraged by the cost estimates from other software developers. He turned to the vendor Gigster for development help.

Gigster implemented a two-part solution: a mobile app for patients to consolidate their medical information and a free web portal for care providers. The project proceeded smoothly, with Gigster crediting the clear communication and preparation from the Docket team. As a result of working with Gigster, the idea was transformed into a reality and Docket was on track for its first release in Q2 2016.
