Major National Museum Standardizes on Deep Observability as a Foundation for Its Data Integrity and Security

Trofi Security, supporting the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum’s cybersecurity operations, faced a major challenge securing a rapidly expanding hybrid cloud environment while dealing with constant attacks, noisy logs, false positives, and limited visibility into traffic flow. The team needed deeper observability than traditional firewalls, VPNs, and log-based tools could provide, and turned to Gigamon for help.

Gigamon deployed GigaVUE Cloud Suite for AWS, GigaVUE HC Series, and GigaVUE-FM to deliver deep observability across the museum’s AWS environment. This improved East-West traffic visibility, reduced the traffic sent to NDR tools, cleaned and de-duplicated data, and established Gigamon as the “single source of truth” for security systems. The result was better data integrity, easier tool integration, improved network performance, and a stronger foundation for automation and AI-driven security.
