Gigamon Restores Network Visibility After Move to Microsoft Azure Cloud

BARBRI Group, a global legal education provider that scales for seasonal peaks of tens of thousands of concurrent users, moved its infrastructure to Microsoft Azure to cut data center costs. After the migration the team lost critical network visibility needed to monitor performance and troubleshoot high-volume sessions, making it difficult to use their existing monitoring tools and to plan capacity.

They deployed GigaSECURE Cloud for Microsoft Azure—using G-vTAP agents, GigaVUE V-Series visibility nodes and GigaVUE‑FM orchestration—to mirror, aggregate and distribute cloud traffic to tools like Dynatrace. The solution restored real-time visibility and NetFlow data, simplified testing of new tools without impacting production, improved planning and capacity design, and made migration and setup notably simple for BARBRI’s IT team.
