Gigamon Enhances Mobile Identify’s Security to Strengthen Attack Preventions

Mobile Identify by Bastion is a Dublin-based SaaS provider of mobile identity authentication and fraud prevention that processes over 200 million transactions a year for 100 financial institutions. After moving to a dual data-center VMware NSX-T architecture, the company needed to replace a legacy perimeter XDR, feed NSX-T traffic into modern detection tools, simplify a complex setup, and maintain ISO 27001 compliance — a homegrown traffic-capture solution proved too CPU-intensive and prone to outages.

Working with Vizst Technology, Mobile Identify deployed Gigamon’s Deep Observability Pipeline and GigaVUE Cloud Suite for VMware. The solution was quick to onboard, delivered full visibility across 100% of the environment, reduced CPU consumption versus the homegrown approach, enabled load balancing and filtering, and produced the logs and evidence needed for ISO certification — improving threat detection without added hardware or disruption.
