Prague City Hall Corrects Traffic Inspection Flaws — and Bolsters Network Security — with Gigamon

Prague City Hall, a large municipal authority with multiple sites and datacenters, faced critical gaps in network traffic inspection and security. Existing deep packet inspection tools were limited by license throughput, sensor placement constraints, unnecessary inspection of irrelevant traffic, and insufficient ports for mirroring, leaving significant portions of network traffic unmonitored.

Corpus Solutions deployed the Gigamon Deep Observability Pipeline to broaden visibility without extending security licenses, enable flexible sensor coverage, and selectively forward only relevant, deduplicated, and masked traffic to monitoring tools. The platform integrated easily with existing infrastructure, improved insight into virtualized environments, supported traffic mirroring across devices, scaled with future growth, and met Prague City Hall’s objectives for a secure, centralized packet-broker solution.
