Kwizda Improves SSL Traffic Visibility from 65 Percent to 90 Percent with Gigamon

Kwizda Holding GmbH, a Vienna-based life sciences company, needed to ensure its drug-ordering web interface remained highly available, responsive, and compliant with regulations that require encryption (including Diffie-Hellman with PFS) for North–South and intra-VM traffic. That strong encryption made it difficult for IT to monitor and detect hidden threats within SSL/TLS traffic and to investigate performance or security incidents.

Gigamon deployed GigaVUE HC and V Series with GigaSMART inline SSL/TLS decryption and an inline bypass module, restoring visibility into encrypted traffic and ensuring service continuity. The solution raised SSL visibility from 65% to about 90%, enabled forwarding of analytics to SIEM for threat detection, improved application availability, and maintained compliance while allowing effective network monitoring.
