Arrowhead General Insurance chooses Instec and GhostDraft to get to market faster

Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, a subsidiary of Brown and Brown Inc., needed a platform to efficiently manage and rapidly migrate a complex small commercial insurance portfolio from QBE. To meet this challenge, they selected the Instec Policy system and the GhostDraft customer communication software for their ability to handle commercial multi-line, ISO-based policies.

The solution involved using Instec's self-configuration tools and bundled GhostDraft software to build 78 custom coverages and nearly 800 custom forms. The implementation by Instec and GhostDraft was so rapid that the first three states went live in under nine months. The successful result is a system that now holds approximately 70,000 policies across all 50 states with a total premium value nearing $200 million, leading parent company Brown and Brown to transition other program business to the Instec platform.
