Beneva, the largest insurance mutual in Canada formed from the union of La Capitale and SSQ Insurance, faced the significant challenge of integrating mission-critical systems and processes from two separate organizations to support future growth, including a desired move to the cloud. They engaged vendor GFT to implement a consolidated platform using Guidewire InsuranceSuite.

GFT worked closely with Beneva on a multi-year engagement to implement Guidewire ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, and BillingCenter. The solution replaced three previous systems with a single, future-proof system that can manage five times more records, reduces maintenance, increases efficiency, and paves the way for cloud migration. GFT’s strategic advice and deep sector expertise were key to this successful consolidation.
