CTI Foods, a prepared food manufacturer and distributor with about 1,500 employees across seven locations, needed to improve file access and support planned video conferencing without overwhelming its network. The company was experiencing slow access to large files stored in its data center and wanted to avoid adding more bandwidth, so it turned to GFI Software and Exinda network management solutions.

GFI Software deployed Exinda 4061 appliances at all seven locations to prioritize and protect critical traffic, including voice, Citrix, ERP, file sharing, and high-definition video conferencing. The result was improved productivity and collaboration, with employees able to hold multi-person video meetings and work more effectively across sites while maintaining performance for other business applications.
