Singapore’s first travel pilot hybrid event

Web in Travel (WiT) is Asia’s leading digital travel media and events platform based in Singapore. For WiT Experience Week 2020—the country’s first travel hybrid event—COVID-19 forced a rapid pivot from physical to hybrid delivery; WiT needed a robust, customizable platform with local tech support to unify four days of virtual and in-person programming, enable safe touchless check-in, and drive attendee engagement and analytics.

GEVME delivered touchless registration kiosks, the GEVME Live platform and onsite digital event managers to create a unified live venue with unique access links, livestreams, on‑demand sessions, networking lounges and analytics. The hybrid format ran smoothly—about 500 participants from 28+ countries (with 50 attending in person)—resulting in seamless digital‑physical integration, broader speaker reach, strong engagement and positive testimonials on safety and support.
