A GEVME Case Study
GEVME, a one‑stop event management and marketing software, was engaged to support the Myanmar Computer Federation (MCF) when it hosted the ASOCIO ICT Summit in Yangon (November 13–17, 2016). MCF needed a professional, tech‑driven registration solution to handle online and onsite payments (including telegraphic transfer), separate session check‑ins for all‑day delegate passes and guest tickets (opening ceremony and dinner), and reliable onsite support to avoid manual paperwork for an international summit.
Working with partner Global Connect Asia (GCA), GEVME provided an integrated website builder, onsite check‑in tools, flexible payment options, custom forms and ticket types (including last‑minute Media, Free and Local tickets), staffing and video services. Registrations ran smoothly, reporting was available in real time, and payments were efficiently tracked (50% online, 40% onsite, ~10% telegraphic transfer); a double‑charge was promptly refunded. The event boosted MCF’s professional image and showcased GCA/GEVME’s capability to support international events in Myanmar.
